Timbur delivers anywhere in South Africa. In Gauteng, delivery costs R850 including VAT and includes installation: wall-hung headboards, pedestals, dressing tables and TV units are mounted by our team at the height that suits you. Outside Gauteng, the delivery fee is calculated at checkout and wall-hung pieces ship with fixings and step-by-step DIY instructions. Collection from our Lanseria workshop is free.

What happens on delivery day
- Deliveries are made on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00, excluding public holidays. We confirm the date with you in advance.
- You or someone you authorise must be there to accept the delivery and sign for it.
- Please clear the route and the wall or space before we arrive. The delivery team cannot move existing furniture or take old furniture away.
- Inspect each piece before you sign. If anything is damaged, note it on the delivery slip and tell us within 24 hours at service@timbur.co.za with photographs. If you cannot inspect a boxed item, write "unchecked" on the waybill.
- If a delivery cannot be completed because the address is inaccessible or nobody is home, a further delivery fee may apply.
Installing wall-hung furniture
Floating pedestals, headboards, dressing tables and TV units mount to drywall, brick or concrete, provided the fixings suit that wall type and the wall is sound enough to carry the unit. Brackets and fixings are included with every wall-hung piece. In Gauteng our team does this on delivery. Elsewhere, follow the instructions in the box, and if you are unsure what your wall is made of, tell us before you order.
Delivery and installation questions
Is installation really free in Gauteng?
Installation is included in the R850 Gauteng delivery fee. There is no separate installation charge.
Do you deliver to Cape Town and Durban?
Yes, to anywhere in South Africa. The delivery fee is calculated at checkout from your address, and wall-hung pieces ship with fixings and DIY instructions rather than our installation team.
Can I collect my order instead?
Yes, free of charge from the Lanseria workshop, by appointment with at least two working days' notice. Tell us who is collecting and whether you want it assembled.
What if I live outside Gauteng and cannot fit it myself?
Every wall-hung piece comes with brackets, fixings and step-by-step instructions, and any handyman or carpenter can mount it. Freestanding pieces need no installation.
Which days do you deliver?
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, excluding public holidays. We confirm the date with you beforehand.
Do you deliver outside South Africa?
No. Delivery is within South Africa only.
