Timbur designs and builds every piece in its own workshop at 11 Middel Road, Sunrella, Lanseria, Gauteng, about 15 minutes from Fourways. There is no showroom. Workshop visits are by appointment, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. Photographs of finished pieces in customers' homes are in the customer gallery.

Yes. In Gauteng, delivery is R850 including VAT and includes installation of wall-hung pieces. Everywhere else in South Africa the delivery fee is calculated at checkout from your address, and wall-hung pieces ship with fixings and DIY instructions. Collection from the Lanseria workshop is free, by appointment. Details on the delivery and installation page.

Every piece is made after you order it. The current manufacturing lead time is 9 to 11 weeks, which already includes the December closure, and delivery follows 3 to 7 working days after manufacturing. The product page shows an estimated manufacturing date when you order. See lead times.

In Gauteng, Timbur's own team delivers and mounts floating headboards, pedestals, dressing tables and TV units at the height that suits you, as part of the delivery fee. Outside Gauteng, every wall-hung piece comes with brackets, fixings and step-by-step instructions, and any handyman can fit it. Freestanding pieces need no installation.

Solid French Oak, solid Kiaat and solid Ash, sealed rather than painted so the grain stays visible, over cabinets sprayed in Timbur's own spray shop in Satin White, Satin Light Grey, Satin Dark Grey or Flat Black. Matching pieces ordered together are sprayed together so the colour matches. Timber comes from responsibly managed forests.

Most pieces are between R3,000 and R16,000 (November 2026 prices). Bedside pedestals start at R2,995, floating headboard and pedestal sets at R7,890, floating dressing tables at R3,995, TV units at R5,095, desks at R3,695, sideboards at R12,995 and solid-timber dining tables at R10,995. The current price is on every product page, in South African Rand.

No. Timbur sells direct from the workshop, which is part of why a solid-timber piece costs what it does. You can visit the Lanseria workshop by appointment, browse the customer gallery, and read Timbur's Google reviews before ordering.

Yes, within reason. Every piece is made to order, so widths and heights can often be adjusted to your wall or room, and every piece comes in a choice of timber and cabinet colour. Email info@timbur.co.za with the piece and the change you need before you order, and Timbur will confirm whether it can be done and at what price.

Add the pieces to your cart with the size, timber and colour you want, choose delivery or collection at checkout, and pay securely through Peach Payments. Twelve months against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, for furniture used in a home. Transit damage noted on the delivery slip and reported within 24 hours is repaired or replaced at no charge. Natural variation in solid timber is not a defect. See the warranty page.
