Timbur makes solid wood furniture for Pretoria homes in its own workshop in Lanseria, about 45 minutes from Centurion and Pretoria East, and delivers and installs it anywhere in the city. Every headboard, pedestal, dressing table, TV unit, sideboard, desk and dining table is built after you order, in solid French Oak or Kiaat over a sprayed cabinet, and fitted by the same team that made it.
What we make
Floating headboards and headboard and pedestal combos in single to super king, bedside pedestals, floating dressing tables, chests of drawers, wall-mounted and freestanding TV units, sideboards and dining room servers, home office desks and solid oak dining tables. Cabinets come in Satin White, Satin Light Grey, Satin Dark Grey or Flat Black, and pieces ordered together are sprayed together so the colour matches across the bedroom.
Where in Pretoria we deliver and install
Installation is included with delivery anywhere in Gauteng, so Pretoria costs the same as Johannesburg. From Lanseria the team reaches Centurion, Irene and Midstream in about 40 minutes via the N14 and R55; Pretoria West, the CBD, Hatfield and Brooklyn in about 50 minutes; Waterkloof, Lynnwood, Menlyn, Garsfontein and Faerie Glen in about an hour; and Silver Lakes, Mooikloof, Montana, Pretoria North and Akasia a little beyond that. Wall-hung pieces are mounted on the day, set to your bed or seating height, with fixings chosen for your wall type. Freestanding pieces arrive assembled.
Why Pretoria customers come to a Lanseria workshop
There is no showroom in Pretoria; there is a workshop 45 minutes away where you can see the timbers, the four colours and a finished drawer before you order, by appointment on weekdays between 08:30 and 16:30. Most Pretoria customers order online from the product pages, send us a wall measurement if they need a custom width, and meet the team on installation day. Completed orders can also be collected from the workshop free of charge with two working days' notice.
How ordering works
- Choose the piece, bed size, timber and cabinet colour on the product page, or email the wall measurements to info@timbur.co.za for a custom width.
- Pay online. The piece joins the workshop schedule; the current lead time is on the lead times page and on every product page.
- We call to arrange a delivery and installation date when it is finished. Delivery is quoted at checkout; see delivery and installation.
- On the day the team mounts wall-hung pieces, levels them and removes the packaging. Everything is covered by the warranty.

Do you deliver wooden furniture to Pretoria?
Yes. Timbur delivers and installs anywhere in Gauteng, including Centurion, Pretoria East, the CBD, Waterkloof, Menlyn, Silver Lakes, Montana and Pretoria North. Installation is included with delivery.
Where is the furniture made?
In Timbur's own workshop at 11 Middel Road, Sunrella, Lanseria, about 45 minutes from Centurion, from solid French Oak or Kiaat and sprayed PG Bison MDF. Nothing is imported finished.
Is there a Timbur showroom in Pretoria?
No. Finished pieces, timber samples and colours can be seen at the Lanseria workshop by appointment on weekdays between 08:30 and 16:30. Call 072 473 0380 or email info@timbur.co.za.
Does installation in Pretoria cost more than in Johannesburg?
No. Installation is included with delivery anywhere in Gauteng. The delivery fee itself is quoted at checkout and shown on the delivery and installation page.
Can I collect from Lanseria?
Yes, free of charge by appointment with two working days' notice. Wall-hung pieces come with brackets, fixings and mounting instructions for drywall, brick or concrete.
Do you make custom sizes?
Often, yes. Each piece is made to order, so widths and some heights can be adjusted to your wall or bed size. Send measurements to info@timbur.co.za before ordering.
